Using of the climatic data-bases for estimation nature-resource and technical potential of wind energy

The work contains results of calculating elements of potential wind power on the presented territory, and also an efficiency of work of the wind turbines with the set power, received with the use of NASA Surface meteorology and Solar Energy System data. The question of adequacy of the used data is considered, and the results of their verification with the use of land measurements of meteorological stations of Russia are presented. The results, which were received for the territory of Southern Federal District of Russian Federation, are presented in cartographical way.
