After for many decades idiopathic illness in mental anxiety was considered as an exclusively motor phenomenon, over the past decade, sensitivity has grown to the fact that this clinical picture is accompanied by considerable psychological changes that greatly affect the quality of human life. Mental disorders result from the following subsections: cognitive impairment, dementia, depression, anxiety, and psychotic episodes. It should not be forgotten, however, that although significant progress has already been made with newer antidepressants and atypical antipsychotics, full recovery is not always possible and that only small gains can be made in some cases.
