Actually existing multicultural educational environment, the need to provide communication and interaction of the subjects of educational process in it determine the relevant problem for the pedagogy of vocational education that is the formation of students' tolerance in multicultural environment of the university. The article explains the potential of the discipline «Foreign Language» in the context of formation of tolerance, reveals the stages and technologies that contribute to the effectiveness of this process.
