Use of forest resources in the Republic of Belarus

The article discusses the forest sector the Republic of Belarus as a main renewable natural resource, a sector of the economy involved in the study, accounting, planning and forecasting integrated forest resources management. The purpose of the article is to assess the state of the flora resources of Belarus, as well as to consider the flora as an object of use and protection, to study the forest resources of Belarus, to justify measures for the protection of forest resources. Also analyzed dynamics of indicators of forest fund, problems are revealed and strategic objectives of development of forestry for the period from 2016-2020 are given.
