Renewable energy sources (RES) are becoming more widely used in power supply systems. This also applies to power supply systems for rural consumers, who receive power, in most cases, from the 0.4 kV power grid. The use of RES requires new approaches to the topology and automation of electric networks, since RES significantly affect the modes of operation of the network. One of the concepts that offers a solution to this issue is the concept of creating intelligent electrical networks based on the use of multi-contact switching systems. Multi-contact switching systems (MCS) are switching devices containing several contact groups with independent control, which allows switching multiple network sections using a single MCS. The main advantage of using the ISS is the ability to flexibly change the network circuit automatically or remotely. ICS allow you to partition power transmission lines( transmission lines) and perform network redundancy. If there are renewable energy sources (RES) in the network, the use of the ISS makes it possible to manage the network operation modes and RES loads, monitor them, and, if necessary, segment the network so that each power source supplies its segment without connection to other parts of the network.
