The influence of the stereoisomers nitrosoalkilureas on chromosome apparatus, seeds germination, survival, growth and development of winter wheat were studied. The frequency and spectrum of mutations in the generations of M 1- M 3 were investigated, and the optimal concentrations of chiral mutagens for use in mutation breeding of wheat were established.
