Digital technologies are intensively integrated into all spheres of our society, including law enforcement agencies which technological activities must go with technical progress. For example, 3D modeling and virtual reality open up new opportunities for investigative and judicial practice they also create three-dimensional digital trace copies and accurate visual models of accident scenes. Such models provide a high level of detail and accuracy in fixing the scene and allow the investigator and other participants of the process to more fully analyse the collected information, which contributes to a better understanding of the criminal event’s mechanism and the collected evidence evaluation.
