Use of special knowledge at investigation of crimes against property

The article analyzes peculiarities of the use of special knowledge when investigating crimes against property. It substantiates the value of forensic examination of traces for different circumstances of the events under investigation, describes identification, classification and diagnostic objectives of the study. The author emphasizes the high importance of the trasological expertise, establishing cause-and-effect link between the event and its outcome, analyzing the complex of traces in the particular case.
