The article deals with the issues of the organisation of detection and investigation of the economic crimes made on the objects of a railway transport. It is also determines the specific features of economic activities of the objects of a railway transport and their influence on the process of collecting evidence on this category of criminal cases. The major condition of the effective investigation of the economic crime made on the objects of a railway transport is the use of special knowledge.
