The modern high-mechanized and electrified agriculture imposes increased requirements to reliability and uninterrupted operation of power supply. Nedootpusk the electric power, breaks in power supply of the enterprises of agro-industrial complex involve as the direct economic loss connected with his restoration, and technological, caused by damage of agricultural products. The electrosupplying organizations at the same time also sustain losses because of a non-payment of the nedootpushchenny electric power. Therefore, the consumer and the producer of the electric power are interested parties in increase in reliability of power supply. Increase in efficiency of agricultural production is connected with uninterrupted power supply of agricultural consumers. Implementation of this task imposes increased requirements to reliability of power supply which level remains low now. Data of emergency statistics demonstrate that 70-80% of all breaks in power supply of agricultural consumers happen because of damages to networks of 6-10 kV, and 90% of these damages are the share of air-lines. In a complex of the actions directed to increase in reliability of power supply the important place belongs to development and improvement of the means allowing to accelerate search of damages to air electrical networks of 6-10 kV. When using means of remote search of damages time of elimination of an emergency will be reduced and will be reduced undersupply of electric power.
