Using of the technical means in cases of illicit movement of weapon, its parts and ammunitions by road

This article is dedicated to the using of technical means in cases of illicit movement of weapon, its parts and ammunitions by road. The author reviews the main equipment such as inspection and vetting complexes (IVC), scanner of hidden cavities “Watson”, and portable X-ray complex “Shmel-240 TV”. Moreover, a brief description of this equipment is given in this article, as well as its significance for customs control. Statistics data is also provided in this work.
