Use of technical means during inspection of the site of incident on the facts of illegal felling of forest plants

Introduction: the article deals with the use of technical means that are not included in the list of traditional technical and forensic means used in the course of the inspection of the scene of an incident on the facts of illegal logging of forest plantations. Literature Review includes modern scientific literature, as well as materials from periodicals on the subject of this article published since 2010. Materials and Methods: the research materials are modern literary sources of domestic authors on the subject under consideration, materials of criminal cases. The conducted research is based on the following methods: generalization of investigative practice, analytical, logical, logical and legal. Results: the author considers the features of the inspection of the scene of the incident on the facts of illegal logging of forest plantations using technical means that are not included in the list of traditional technical and forensic tools used by employees of forensic divisions. Discussion and Conclusions: an exhaustive list of technical means used in the inspection of the scene of the incident is proposed. The considered technical means include measuring and marking tools, an age drill, a chainsaw and components necessary for its normal operation.
