The problem of accumulation, storages and treatments of large volumes of data during realization of analysis and development of prognosis of the Russian food market development, is examined in the article. For her decision it is suggested to use technology of Big Data. Authors consider that her application will allow to decide the row of problems of storage and processing of data, promote exactness and operationability of analysis. Foreign and home experience confirms high efficiency of the use of technology of Big Data.
