Use of universal limno-ecological classification for regional typification and inventory of lakes fund on the example of Kazan

The present work is devoted to use of developed universal limno-ecological classification of lakes (ULEC). The given classification allows to make typification and inventory of lakes fund on regional and federal value. It considers all the basic ingredients of lakes, describes type of lake in the form of uniform formula, helps to reveal separate types of lakes depending on tasks in view of protection and exploitation of water objects. Owing to record of lake in the form of uniform formula, procedure of inventory can be considerably simplified, that is shown on an example of typification of Kazan lakes. The given inventories can be brought in the register of water objects of region, that in the future it can be necessary in a basis of the decision of concrete practical problems on use of water objects, as an estimation of necessity of carrying out measures of protection and restoration of objects of lakes fund; typification of lakes on quality of water, drinking use for needs of the population and other economic, nature protection purposes.
