Use of animals for studying the influence of space on living organisms

The article is devoted to the consideration of the historical aspects of a series of experiments on sending animals to Earth orbit, as well as the study of the course of some biological processes inside a living organism located in space. The author conducted a review of sources in this area with a selection of the necessary data.
