Trace search works are an integral part of the construction and technical operation of cable communication lines. They play an important role for underground communications. Tracing methods are especially important at linear-cable structures for multichannel transport communication of fiber- optic communication lines. The article provides a justification for the need to create a testıng ground for linear cable structures with a fully dielectric optical cable based on microduct system as well as the description of the testing ground based on various technologies for optical cable installation is presented. The construction of the testing ground for fiber-optic communication line approbation was carried out using mini-trench technology. Various methods of cable line localization were compared. The experimental approbation of electromagnetic induction method, ground penetrating radar method and acoustic method was carried out on the testing ground in order to determine the location and depth of laying for microduct set and optical cables.
