Investigation of polymer degradation during the overhaul of wells

Currently, problems associated with drilling and repair and restoration work on wells are extremely relevant for the development of modern industry. A patent review of kill fluids for oil and gas wells was carried out, as well as our own modeling of various situations of formation and destruction of a continuous gel, which was carried out in two stages. It has been established that contact of the polymer-gel system with oxidizing agents such as sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide at various concentrations in water and temperature leads to irreversible destruction of the gels.
