Hate speech study with the use of natural language processing tools

The development of Internet communication has led to the emergence of a large number of texts containing various kinds of malicious content, including calls for extremist activity directed against a certain group of people. Hate speech has become an independent object of research for domestic linguistic scientists, but the methods used are based on the analysis of a limited amount of language material. The article provides an overview of research (mainly performed on English-language material) devoted to the analysis of the corpuses of extremist texts using computer linguistics tools, and outlines the prospects for further research in this direction.
