Research on the effectiveness of treatment methods for the optimal selection of correction for dental and jaw anomalies, conducted based on evaluative standards of orthodontic therapy quality

This study presents an evaluation of the effectiveness of single-stage treatment of distal occlusion in patients with developing permanent dentition using fixed appliances - bracket systems. The research involved patients with normo- and hypodivergent types of facial skeletal structure. The focus is on changes in occlusal relationships, bite height, and aesthetic outcomes following the distalization of the first upper molars. Results show that the use of bracket systems combined with the distalization of molars achieves high rates of bite correction, effective elimination of dental anomalies, and improved facial aesthetics. The effectiveness of the treatment was 98%, demonstrating the feasibility of this method in orthodontic practice. This work allows conclusions about the long-term stability of the achieved results and emphasizes the importance of an individualized approach to treating distal occlusion, opening new avenues for further research in the field of orthodontics.
