Research of export and import of fish products in East Asia by means of hierarchical cluster analysis

The research objective was to identify the most promising clusters of export and import of fish products from the standpoint of developing trade relations with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to devise methodological aspects of the study of fish markets based on the method of hierarchical cluster analysis. The paper examines the structure of export of fish products by enterprises of the Far East Federal District using the method of hierarchical cluster analysis. The analysis of exports by major importing countries has been carried out, as well as the analysis of the structure of imports of fish products from East Asian countries to the Far East, and a trend value growth of exported fish products by major East Asian countries is shown. Research methods: relative values, hierarchical cluster analysis (tree clustering), generalization, comparative analysis, construction of series of dynamics.
