The article is devoted to the study of the relationship between the electrical characteristics and the microstructure of the varistor. The C-V characteristics of varistors from 10 manufacturers represented in Russian Federation were experimentally determined. To compare the parameters of the samples, the dependences “electric field - conductivity” (E-σ) were built out, the coefficients of nonlinearity and were determined.
