Investigation of the energy load of an electromagnetic field near the contact network

Бесплатный доступ

This article studies the energy load of the electromagnetic field (EMF) of an AC contact network. The absolute values of the magnetic and electric field strengths of the contact network were used in the analysis of the fields. The current distribution is given depending on the power supply system of the AC contact network (25 kV, 2 25 kV, 50 kV) and the section of the contact network. The magnetic and electric field strengths are calculated using Fazonord software. The existing approach in Russia in the normalization of electric and magnetic fields up to 1 kHz does not allow personnel servicing the AC contact network to be protected from the harmful effects of these fields. To minimize possible damage to the health of personnel, it is proposed to improve the regulatory framework for electromagnetic fields up to 1 kHz, and to use the proposed maximum safe levels before the adoption of maximum permissible levels. A new approach to the assessment and rationing of electric and magnetic fields through the energy load of EMF will reduce the risk to personnel. For the first time, the EMF energy loads near the AC circuit affecting service personnel were obtained. Extremely safe levels of EMF energy load are proposed. In order to reduce the risk of exposure to EMF energy, it is possible to use alarms that warn personnel about exceeding safe levels.
