Experimental investigation of combinated action anti-tumor antibiotic doxorubicin and industrial monomer acrylonitrile in vivo, role of lipid peroxidation in anemia pathogenesis

Industrial monomer acrylonitrile (AN) stimulated cancerogenesis in rats and humans. Administration AN de-creased anti-tumor effect of anthracyclin antibiotic doxorubicin (Drb) in rats with Pliss lunphosarcoma Acryloni-trile's and doxorubicin's combination decreased erythrocytes and haemoglobin in rats without tumor and with Pliss limphosarcoma more considerably than in rats with lunphosarcoma pretreatment Drb. One of the possible mecha-nism of toxicity effect AN, Drb and limphosarcoma is the stimulation of lipid peroxidation.
