The article provides interpretations of the concept of "competitive advantage", on the basis of which the author's definition of this concept is formulated. Particular attention is paid to the types of competitive advantages, the requirements for them, as well as the problems of managing competitive advantages. It is determined that this refers to the traditional competitive advantages of companies, and examples of competitive advantages of leading world companies are also given.
