We completed research of nanoporous structure formation mechanisms in multicomponent brass at a thermocycling by laser influence. Channel type pores with a diameter of about 80 100 nm are formed in the central part of the heat affected zone on laser influence on samples with 0.05 mm of thickness of the alloy system Cu Zn Al Fe. Internal stress is the cause of nanopore composition that appears in the material as a result of cyclic heating and cooling at high rates.
