Research of methodological approaches to the assessment of small businesses’ financial stability

The article substantiates the problem of assessing the small businesses’ financial stability, which is characterized by biased results and incorrect interpretation of the obtained values when using traditional methods. This is determined by the specifics of the formation of small enterprises’ asset and capital. The analysis of modern scientific research has allowed us to identify three basic methodical approaches to assessing the financial stability of small business entities. These approaches allow us to assess the financial stability of small businesses at a higher level of reliability and objectivity, since they take into account the specifics of their financial activities.
