Metrology characteristics research of microwave noise meter

For two calibration methods the researches of metrology parameters of microwave signal amplitude, frequency and insertion phase noise meter are carried out. The measuring error is determined by an installation and measurement by spectral methods error of modulation parameter for microwave calibration signal. Usage of the offered calibration method and unit allows practically to remove an error dependent on analyzing frequency, and to reduce error dependent on value of an input signal power. Also the sensitivity of three kinds noise of microwave signal measurements with the help of a designed meter MNM 78-118 are determined.
