Virtual modeling is an integral part of the informatization of the educational process, a convenient tool for the implementation of educational and scientific research, in particular on electrical engineering disciplines. It is not intended to replace the traditional physical experiment, but it provides an opportunity to better understand the physics of phenomena. The article presents the results of research of semiconductor diodes and rectification circuits in the Multisim software environment.
