Investigation of bone tissue optical density in treatment patients by the technique of external transosseous oseosynthesis

The work demonstrates that investigation of bone tissue optical density is a promising technique, which gives an opportunity to assess the level of fracture consolidation more objectively during patients' treatment using the technique of external transosseous osteosynthesis. The use of this technique for the purpose of determination of the time for dismounting external fixation devices is considered and illustrated by the example of 82 patients with different fractures. Changes of the consolidation level are shown depending on the time interval.
