Study of land use features taking into account the development of regional and urban areas

Land in Russia is an important and significant resource that is used for various purposes, depending on the destination. The study assesses the use of land resources, identifies factors affecting the deterioration of their qualitative component: wind and water erosion, waterlogging of soils, pollution with heavy metals and other types of anthropogenic influence, the paper considers regions with negative dynamics of the quality of soil cover and its significant deterioration due to anthropogenic activities.
