Investigation of threshold cosmic-ray hardness during geomagnetic disturbances for testing models of the magnetospheric magnetic field

Our investigation focuses on possibilities of a new method for estimating accuracy of the model approximation of space-time magnetic-field distribution in the magnetosphere. Experimental data from the world cosmic-ray recording network are used. We revealed that data on cosmic rays can be applied to estimate dynamic characteristics of the magnetic-field model approximation.
