Research of increasing the uniformity of seeding agricultural crops using a coil sowing machine

Roller feeds are an important tool in agriculture, allowing precise control of seeding rates. In devices with an effective working layer, friction between the seeds promotes additional outflow of seeds, which helps smooth out the pulsation. Precise adjustment of the seeding rate and smoothing of pulsations promotes active plant growth and increased productivity. In the proposed work, the object of research is the sowing of grain seeds using a coil sowing machine. The subject of the study is the dependence of the uniformity of seed distribution along the length of the furrow on the unevenness of the specific working volume of the coil, the rotational speed of the supercharger of a pneumatic seeder and the seeding rate. The goal of the research is to increase the uniformity of distribution of the nutritional area per plant using the usual method of sowing winter wheat. The article presents the results of experiments that make it possible to find relationships between the specific volume of the coil, seeding rate, yield and unevenness of sowing. Thus, the factor of seeding rate has the greatest significance on yield. The constructed regression model has a coefficient of determination equal to 0,59. Thus, the resulting model, which predicts the result of 59%, can be used in practice. Using bayesian networks, the best indicators of the factors that achieve the highest yield were found. In particular, a yield of 65-75 kg/ha can be achieved with a 75% probability when using a honeycomb coil and a seeding rate of 225 kg/ha. At the same time, the grooved shape of the coil will provide this yield range by 50%.
