The steady growth rate of the number of cars inevitably leads to the problem of a shortage of parking spaces for vehicles not only in the central parts of cities, but also in residential areas. Compact placement of vehicles on the territory of multi-storey residential buildings in the event of a fire contributes to the rapid spread of gorenje gorenje to other vehicles and the change of traces of thermal damage - signs of the original place of origin of the burning. In the article, using the example of a fire of a group of vehicles, it is shown that convective flows and, accordingly, the zone of maximum thermal damage are shifted in the direction of the wind forming in the courtyard of a multi-storey residential building. Thus, information about the direction of movement of air flows at the time of the occurrence of gorenje or about the rose of the winds is criminalistically important information in the investigation of fires of motor vehicles that occurred on the territory of multi-storey residential buildings.
