Research of the psychological manipulation range in antique philosophy

The article carries out a research of the antique philosophers’ ideas on psychological manipulation and its range. In their opinion the manipulation is a means of management and social control. Some philosophers consider it to be the social evil; the others believe that the manipulation should be estimated from the perspective of objectives and intentions of its driving forces. The determination of the manipulation range by the antique philosophers also differs.
