Research of ways of development of the oil and gas sector: regional, environmental and information aspects

The study presents the features of the development of the oil and gas industry in terms of greening processes, the creation and formation of digital technologies based on the production processes of the industry, the regional development of the Arctic zone, taking into account the features of geological exploration and production of natural gas and oil. Submission of a development plan for the territories of the Far North and its infrastructure in accordance with regulatory documents and strategies. The paper reveals the essence of the introduction of digital technologies and the transformation of the digital sector for the oil and gas industry in terms of creating optimized business processes and the formation of predictive analytics of big data. Greening of processes will allow to reuse waste generated from the production processes of the oil and gas complex, reduce their environmental hazard and impact on the region, as well as create additional production facilities, the main raw materials of which will be waste from the main processes of oil and gas production. The creation of closed resource cycles will allow enterprises to implement the principles of resource conservation and energy efficiency and form the basis for greening production processes.
