Research on the development of decentralized finance in the context of banking business

The article is devoted to identifying the features of the development of decentralized finance inrelation to the specifics of modern banking business in the context of digitalization of the economy and thedevelopment offintech in the financial market. Based on a theoretical and methodological analysis of the content of the concept of decentralized finance, the author suggests starting a discussion on an urgent theoreticalquestion: does the new model of the organization offinancial relations change the essential features of categories such as. finance, money, credit in relation to the objects of activity of existing. financial market institutionsand, above all, banks. This issue is important not only from the point of view of theory, but also from the pointof view ofpractical aspects of banking business and regulation of modern banks.
