The direct practical use of diamond powders is preceded by the procedure for establishing the values of their operational properties and characteristics, the results of assessing the stability of the cutting edges of composite abrasive materials are equally important for both powder manufacturers and their consumers. The performance of grinding tools largely depends on the degree of use of the cutting properties of the grains. The paper shows that KAM based on tin bronze reinforced with UDPA has good diamond retention, and the abrasive material operates in self-sharpening mode.
