The analysis of the methods of intensification of the visbreaking process shows that the level of use of these methods in the oil refining industry is different. The best prospects for industrial implementation are methods that use various physical fields that provide a significant increase in the technical and economic indicators of the visbreaking process with minimal reconstruction of existing installations. It was revealed that after magnetic field treatment, the yield of light products in the process of visbreaking of oil residues increases by 5.7% by weight.
