In this article, a rheological study of PVC-based compositions containing modified phosphoroboride-containing magnesium hydroxide was conducted. The addition of magnesium hydroxide to the composition increases viscosity. The modification of the magnesium hydroxide accelerates the gelation of the PVC plastisol, possibly due to the formation of structural elements in the polymer composition.
