Study of the influence of the speckle structure in the reflection from a diffuse surface on the formation of the interference signal envelope is performed, and measurement error is estimated. Properties of speckle fields are key in the study of the characteristics of coherently bounded systems to control surfaces are examined. Sources of measurement error are identified. The methods of processing the interference signal are considered, and the model of a priori evaluation of measurement error is attached.
