Mini-greenhouses, or growbox, are small-sized devices for growing plants. Automatic devices maintain an optimal microclimate for plant growth, which makes it possible to use such installations for growing crops or seedlings. One of the most simple and affordable methods of heating mini-greenhouses is the use of electrical resistance heaters, which, in the case of growing plants that are undemanding to temperature, makes such heating economically viable. We have carried out experimental studies of various designs of the heating system of mini-greenhouse with volume 1m3 during growing of arugula Indau . In the experiment, soil heating with 1RJ50W type resistors was used, air heating with 1RJ50W type resistors, soil heating with an IR film, heating with a heat fan.In all experiments, the parameters affecting the growth and development of arugula were the same, namely: temperature, watering frequency, light, soil composition, cell size in which the plant was located. As a result of experimental studies revealed that the most promising is the heating with the help of IR - film located on the bottom surface, since this method of heating gives the best result in terms of yield and uniformity of plant sizes. In addition, the IR film has a small thickness, which allows efficient use of the installation volume.
