Research on possibilities of opening an art workshop based on the analysis of competitors in the Moscow market

Modern people strive to develop in various spheres of life, including creativity. There are many opportunities to introduce people to the creative world. Many creative events, master classes are held in megacities. New art schools and studios are opening. The aim of this paper is to research the market of art workshops and study the competitive advantages of its main participants, which will allow us to assess the potential for opening a new art workshop for teaching people to draw in Moscow in an offline format. Evaluating the possibilities of opening such organizations will allow you to create a cost-effective offer that takes into account the specific needs of consumers in the rapidly developing market for drawing training, which, in general, will contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in the country, which can solve many social and economic problems. The methodological basis is the research of the ways to teach artistic skills. The following research methods are used: empirical, mathematical, generalization, comparative analysis. This paper examines the market associated with the provision of drawing training services in Russia, and considers the main types of art workshops and studios. The authors present a classification of art workshops and studios, which are divided into professional and amateur ones, differing in the target audience and a value offer to clients. As a result of the research, it was found that professional studios in Moscow are more designed for regular consumers, and amateur ones for a constantly changing audience. In the analysis of the market of artistic workshops and studios the factors that can contribute to the successful development of a new art studio in the city in modern conditions are identified, as well as the threats that may occur in the external environment and to influence negatively the development of this type of business. The study represents financial profitability indicators of this project.
