Article describes the results of the study of the structure and dynamics of changes in Samara's vehicle fleet, the results of the investigation of traffic flows on highly congested sections of Novo-Sadovaya Street and Moskovsky Highway in Samara and the results of a computational study of roadside air pollution by particles PM10 and PM2.5 at adverse weather conditions and high traffic. It has been established that when the traffic is 5148 vehicle/hour on Moskovsky Highway and 3940 vehicle/hour on Novo-Sadovaya Street, the concentrations of PM10 and PM2.5 may exceed the standard limit values by 1,5-3,5 and 1,2-3,0 times, respectively.
