Paper is devoted to preliminary results of raw material sources research near Tolbor-4, -15, -16 and Kharganyn-Gol-5 sites in Northern Mongolia. The cultural horizons of these complexes refer to various stages of Upper Paleolithic. Their age is in the time span since 45 to 15 kya. Sampling was handled from raw material sources and lithic collections of stratified sites. Five main lithological varieties were defined. They fall into the category of sedimentary rock with varied metamorphic grade. Most of samples relate to deposits of Tulbur set and prehistoric men picked over them in the bed-rock sources or choose among alluvial or proluvial material near the sites.
