The research of famous scientists in the implementation of the grass-field system of agriculture in the stone steppe

The most important means of transforming the steppe is the implementation of a grass-field farming system, the foundations of which were laid by outstanding scientists of our country – V.V. Dokuchaev, P.A. Kostychev, A.A. Izmailsky, K.A. Timiryazev; for the conditions of socialist agriculture, this system was developed by academician V.R. Williams. This article shows the research data of scientists in the Stone Steppe, which is one of the widely known examples of the implementation of a complete grass-field farming system, chosen by V.V. Dokuchaev as an object for transforming the nature of arid steppes.
