Research of cryptographic algorithms for wireless sensor networks

Cryptographic techniques are essential for reliable and stable provision of system security in order to minimize the risk of external attacks and improve its efficiency. Wireless sensor networks play a key role in collecting, monitoring, processing and accumulating raw data in order to improve the operation of actuators, microcontrollers, embedded architectures, IoT devices and computing machines to which they are connected. In the presence of many potential threats, it is important to enhance the security of wireless sensor networks without affecting their primary function – seamless collection and transmission of data to intermediate devices. This work aims to examine the previous and current scientific research in this area. As a result of the conducted research, the article will consider the most suitable cryptographic algorithms that are best suited to ensure wireless sensor networks security, protect against threats and reduce vulnerabilities. This study will form the basis for future work in this area, providing a comprehensive and in-depth view on the topic considered.
