A new near-surface carbon nanotube-saturated composite layer has been developed, which increases the absorptive capacity of the infrared radiation receiver. The authors of the article analyzed the strength characteristics of the layer, its thermal conductivity and absorption properties. The article contains excerpts from a series of experiments conducted by the authors, which show the improvement of the above characteristics when using carbon nanotubes, as well as conclusions from the work carried out to further study the process.
