Researchers of the second half of the XX century about the language, culture and ethnic identity of Russian old-timers of the Arctic Yakutia

The article deals with the scientific study of original ethnic community - Russian Old-timers of Arctic regions of Yakutia conducted in the 1950s - 1990s. In this context the author considers the history of organization and implementation of a number of research initiatives, the most important research results, analyses and summarises the key findings developed by the researchers.
