Sources of information received by operational units about committed economic crimes

Economic crimes pose a serious threat to the security of the country's development. At present, when the long-established balance of both interstate and domestic economic relations has been violated, the implementation of illegal, criminal economic activity carries not only financial, but also moral damage to citizens, legal entities, and the state. In this regard, the detection of the type of crimes under consideration by operational units increases. One of the ways to identify such crimes is to obtain information from the communications of citizens, associations of citizens, legal entities, it is also possible to obtain similar information from persons assisting operational units. The authors draw attention to the receipt of such information outside of criminal procedural relations, and the corresponding opportunities that arise in this case.
