Historical aspects of formation of the theory of economic security of the enterprise

Research on the economic security of enterprises has appeared in the literature recently by historical standards, but in such a short period of time this area of work has successfully established itself in practice among the leading systemically important enterprises both in Russia and in other countries. The study of this factor, which influences the success of corporate business and the country's economy as a whole, took place in stages: first, the studies looked at the economic security of the state, and only later did scientists come to the conclusion that the development of the overall system is impossible without the development of the components included in the system. Understanding the historical process allows us to assess the degree of elaboration of the economic category under study, determine the evolution of the concept, and also identify the main problems and aspects. Economic security is a multifaceted phenomenon that allows a detailed analysis of an object from various angles, using a combination of quantitative and qualitative indicators, which in turn is unique to the economic category. Such uniqueness leads to the need to maintain objectivity in the assessment, which in turn is associated with various difficulties. Modern methodologies for determining the state of economic security of an object make it possible to successfully maintain a balance of subjective and objective characteristics. The conducted research allows us to expand the theoretical and practical basis of the concept of economic security of an enterprise, to determine the vector of development and formation of a holistic theory of economic security.
